The production of the first quarter of 802.11n apparatus increases by 85% compared with the same period of last year

Though the global production chain rate of market of Wireless Local Area Network drop by 9.4% in the first quarter of 2010, but increased by 4.8% compared with the same period of last year. This increased mainly promoted to 802.11n technological transformation. 802.11n apparatus outloading quantity relative ratio increased by 85% in the first quarter of 2009 in the first quarter of 2010.

The analyst Vahid Dejwakh who studies company In-Stat of the trade says, the income from sales of the whole market of Wireless Local Area Network is 1,100 million dollars in the first quarter of 2010, have reduced by 7.2% compared with the fourth quarter of 2009. The income from sales of 802.11n products will account for about 40% of the income from sales of the whole market of Wireless Local Area Network in the first quarter of 2010.

· Netgear is in leading position, over 2 million sets of production in 802.11n apparatus production in the first quarter of 2010. These apparatuses include SOHO router, gateway of the house, network adapter and access point.

· D-Link is in all apparatus of Wireless Local Area Networks (no matter a, b, g or n technology) Production ranks the first, over 3,900,000 apparatus production of Wireless Local Area Networks of the first quarter of 2010. The growth rate compared with the same period of last year of market share of D-Link is most high too.

· SOHO router increased the most powerful one, the outloading quantity relative ratio of first quarter of 2010 increased by 92% in the first quarter of 2009, have increased by 12% compared with the fourth quarter of 2009.

· 802.11g production chain rate dropped by 18%, has dropped by 19% compared with the same period of last year.
